TINY preview screen holds me back. Hard to tell if I have focus or not. Other than that, no complaints.

it's a lot of zooming on the screen... I'm with you. Only certain dslr cameras have the larger display. Even then, you're still zooming in/out a lot to check focus.

1.8" vs 2.7" on newer models is a very noticeable difference. I gave up on trying to zoom, I just take multiple shots to make sure at least one is in focus.

Still, I see people buying those cameras who shoot in green box 100% of the time and have no idea what they are doing....and could have got the same shots from a point and shoot.

100%...but photography is quite the learning experience. Most people won't sit down and read the manual. Some great vids in this thread
