So for some reason, it seems the backup lights are not bright? What would be a good replacement like a good LED?

How about these? I can't recall the bulb information offhand for the 9th Civic, but I think these should fit.

I used the Monster LED from Amazon the cheap pack of 10 and made a huge difference. Side by side comparison. I even used them in my Odyssey.

I'd love to see those in person. That's always the first change I make to a vehicle. But I am a snob about CRI and Color Temp.
