Bad motor mount?

Hi guys,

got a 2012 civic coupe. The car judders when pressing and easing the gas. already changed torque mount, trans oil and spark plugs. I’m wondering if the motor mount is bad. Has some vibration. could be the gearbox mount too but can’t really see it right now as it’s under the air filter box.

What’s the mileage on the car?

Take a look at this vid….maybe try a pry bar on the top mount and see if it moves like the guy in the vid.

By torque mount….you mean the rear mount located at the bottom?

I know all mount have a little give/wiggle but they do go bad at some point.
 
Hey, mine does this also! I have a 2013 coupe and it's been diagnosed as a cooked motor mount for me. In my case it's the front mount like the one shown in the video. Mine moves more than yours does, but the symptoms are similar to what you're describing. I'm having to slowly change all of mine.

I'm at 170K Miles for comparison, if that helps.

I think you're probably right. The torque strut mount is also the 'rear engine' mount of sorts.
