anyone have any experience with what would be a good choice for winter tires on a '13 si?
thanks in advance

I have had very good luck with my Dunlop Graspic DS-2. They don't always rate as high as others but I managed quite well in loads of snow. Used to live in Northern NY. Quite honestly any snow tire will do very well compared to an all season. Problem is usually being able to get your hands on a set this late in the year. They do sell out pretty quick. My wife has a set of the Firestone Winterforce tires. I thought they were quite good also. I do not recommend anything by General Tire just from personal experience.

Here was a drive to work I had last winter in a fresh 6-8" of snow. I did go quite fast and at around 5 minutes you can see me fit between an on coming car and a tractor trailer while holding my "lane" over the snow. At 6 min I came up on a police car but decided not to pass them since I was doing a bit over....hahahah...

7:30 is when I hit some major unplowed sections. You can hear the underside of the car hitting pretty hard.

Ah, good old Rochester. Didn't realize you work at RGH!

Nice. Those are great tires.

I'm using Michelin X-Ice tires on mine. It's my 2nd year with them and they've been really good.
