Bikes!!!! (MTB, Road, etc... just no motors)

Well. Found a suitable trade for my MTB. Guy is coming over by ferry tomorrow morning to trade his 2021 trek fuel ex 8 for my 2022 status 160. Little nervous but the trek weighs 6 lbs less and it's a trail bike. I need a better bike for climbing. Also downgrading to 140mm front 130mm rear travel from 160mm front and back. Also a full 29er.

The cost to save only 2lbs on my status was way too high. Pretty confident I can get the trek under 30 lbs for like $200.

Oh hello.

Visited the site of my torn rotator cuff today. Looks much smaller than I remember. I'm going to jump this tomorrow. It's been 8 months since I've seen this. Further down the trail.is about 5 or 6 table top jumps that are super fun and low risk.

Also re tuned my suspension this morning and it made a huge difference. Actually increased the psi in the fork and shock and adjusted rebound properly. Fore arms felt much better.

On the way up there was a group of young women clearly on a bachelorette trip doing a hike. Passed them and couldn't stop because they were hiking behind me. Clearly in their 20s as I'm approaching 40.
I missed my turn off so I had to head back in their direction. They stopped at my turn off for a snack and asked if I'd like a cookie. I said no thanks but i wanted it. Now I'm wondering if they were shaped like a penis and it's bothering me.

Good Luck today with the jump!

Couldnt do it.
I was worried you did it and something went wrong since didn't hear from you yesterday.
Just the injury is in your head and don't want to risk it again?

Never saw this. I know I can do it but because I fell once I know it will happen again and it was one of the most painful things I've gone through. I do bigger jumps all the time. For some reason when I ride on a skinny wood bridge I lose all balance but I can ride a unicycle. I might do it one day.

Did some maintenance on my bike today. Have had a noise that's been getting louder. Thought it was my dropper post but I think it was my cranks having play. Fixed that and will find out if it fixes the noise next ride. Also found out my derailleur was loose. So I checked all bolts. Serviced the brakes, I need new front pads.
Also found out my bottom bracket bearings are ****** when I took the crank off so I'll have to replace that soon. I need to service the forks and shock pretty bad too.
