So here is my problem; I live in a condo community so washing by car by hand is not an option for me (miss my driveway). I wash my car twice a week through a touchless and usually by the day after I have birds **** on my roof or hood.

Does anyone know of a good product that will remove this without damaging the paint? I cant afford to go to the c/w everyother day.

I am currently using a soft micro fiber cloth soaked in warm water and remove it followed by a little polish.

You can also use a detailing spray with the wet cloth.

Optimum no rise is also a good way to wash your car without access to a hose. Just fill your bucket and have some towels ready

jassmi - the towel soaked in hot water is a great way to go. Obviously the quicker you get it off the better. Also try not to wipe when removing the initial bomb, just try to pick it up vertically if you can.

A good quick detailer spray should be all you need after to clean up the residue. I like Poorboys World Spray and Wipe. Chemical Guys Hybrid V7 is also an excellent spray. If you're looking to just buy one, the V7 is definitely more versatile as it is a good detail spray, glass cleaner, and works nicely on black trim.

Main difference is that V7 is a spray sealant so it adds gloss and the PBW is just a cleaner/QD.

Autogeek has the Poorboys World - Bird S#!$ Remover on buy one get one right now for $9. It's got a little something in it to help remove the etching from the poo. Never used it myself but might be worth a shot. Save you the light polishing step.

Thanks for the info gents!

Nix - Great info I'm going to look into both and see how they compare on the vehicle.

That's exactly what do. I keep some microfiber rags and some Meguiars Quick Detailer in my trunk. It's my quick reaction kit. That stuff stains if you don't get it right away.
