Brake assist

This is a new feature on the 2015 Civics. The reverse comment is for backing up a hill, not stopping the starting on a downhill - but, I agree it shouldn't be mentioned as someone will try it - and I hope we're not behind them!
The 2016's will have a Brake Hold feature button on the console right above the electric Parking Brake - I like that.

That sounds like a safer way to do it, just hope they didn't do away with the mechanical e-brake as well. I'd hate to see cars give up the only mechanical devise, if the electronics go down the e-brake is the only thing left, and we hear all the time about weird malfunctions with drivers losing control of the ability to stop their cars.
