Because opinions vary. I actually like the way the red ones look behind the wheel. Unless the calipers are sanded smooth, with just painting them I think they look like sh!t. These give you another option.

The Si calipers do look like crap. When I put Acura Type S five star rims on, I could not stand looking at the brakes behind them. IMO red would just draw attention to them, so I painted them black. They're still ugly, serviceable calipers, but not as bad.

The Si calipers do look like crap. When I put Acura Type S five star rims on, I could not stand looking at the brakes behind them. IMO red would just draw attention to them, so I painted them black. They're still ugly, serviceable calipers, but not as bad.

Thx. Duplicolor has a brushable version in kit form. I used that so I didn't have to mask anything. Just pulled the wheel off, cleaned the caliper with brake kleen and painted it up. Very controllable. Did it last summer, still looks great.

I like it better than the crap calipers that come with the car, it's not the greatest but does a hell of a job hiding them... Lol, no offense taken....
