GTO SR is like an AWD version of the 3000GT SL here (non-turbo, FWD); that one may go for $10k at a guess, mostly because of the late 3rd gen styling facelift. The one a lot of folks want is the GTO MR which is a lot like the VR-4 but minimal features (cloth seats, no cruise control, more aggressive gearing, etc.).

I've never been a fan of Doug (just meh to me lol) but watching that video you shared makes him more humble to me. He definitely never took the YouTube business for granted and made sure to get into other businesses.

it probably didnt get asking price because the seller didnt take enough pictures that were pretty much the same just a little different angle.
that and the fact that it doesnt have K engines and the shift linkage is held in with zipties. cool car though.
