Car buyers falling back in love with manual transmissions

but they want you to know how fast it is...

Hmmm, no playing card being cut in half edgewise? :scratches:

I would love to have an M5 as a DD, but would never consider it a "sports car", which is where I believe a manual transmission should always belong.

Still working on my wife to learn how to drive the stick... On a side note, my 13 year old will be required to drive a manual when she is driving age...that also goes for her two sisters, if there is such thing as a manual when they are driving age...
I did exactly that when my daughter was learning how to drive. She was not pleased about it when it was happening, but a year later she thanked me for it when she realized she had a skill many others didn't. Especially when she had something she could do that most boys couldn't do. :-)

I will seek vehicles with manual transmissions out until I can no longer use my left leg. There is a much more intimate connection with the machine this way... rather than just stop and go pedals.

and then when you can no longer find them....you switch to nothing but "motorized bike riding".
