Colour matching with vinyl

Yeah sorry I forgot to post the pics in this thread. Did the rear chrome piece. I've been too busy on the weekends lately but hope to do the front pieces this weekend.

matches really nicely to the oem paint
 
Yeah it's not too bad. The only thing is that it has more of a matte finish but I'm still happy with it

Maybe you can add a layer of clear vinyl?

I have done that a long time ago on a test piece but never ended up completing the project on a previous car.

Hmm I never thought of that. I was going to see if I could find some high gloss clear coat.
 
I got this one but I'll try and take some more tomorrow if I remember :thumbsup:
