It was a blast! I'll have some videos up soon. Converting them to a smaller file size for upload takes forever on my laptop. Here's a screen shot though. These cars don't feel as raw or exciting on the track as the 8th gens though that was my only disappoint. Car handled great with the Dunlop DZIIs and the HPD 25mm rear sway bar.

Ah. I think I did pretty well. I think I was the only FWD and four-door out there. I def held my own with the faster cars but hp just kills with the two long straits this course has.

It was very well organized and would def do it again. The Central Florida Region SCCA is filled with some pretty decent people and they make the events fun too. Schedule said first cars out at 9:50 and we were on the track at 9:50. Schedule said we would end at 5. Last car came off the track at 5.

There was only one bad incident. This 1 series went off in the international horseshoe. I heard a few different reasons from "brake fade" to "trying to avoid contact with a slower car" either way it stinks; but luckily it looks mostly cosmetic.

Eventually horsepower usually wins out, but (IMO) the driver is the biggest performance factor in any car.

Too bad for the BMW owner. Looks like he got in over his head. Fortunately, he's alright, and the car's not a wreck.

Nicely done! :clapping:

videos are edited and uploading should post them in the morning. just getting home from work. What a monday leave at 0530 get home at 1045.

When was this and how much does it cost?! Looks awsome

It was in April and it cost me about $90. If you don't have an SCCA membership its like $105 and if you are a first timer its $155 (includes instructor and weekend insurance). I'm doing what at Sebring in July.
