did I get ripped off on extended warranty?

I called the warranty company. They have no record of my warranty yet, but it takes 10 days. They said I could easily cancel with them by submitting a letter stating I was canceling. The amount would be taken off of what I financed. Seems very easy and pain free. I will for sure get it documented that it is indeed canceled and the amount is applied to my loan
 
:yeahthat::1: i work for stealerships, document everything. Not that everyone will but CYA, Cover Your ***.
