be careful on heavy coats, its easier to get runny in lower temps.

Ended up getting a very small run. It's small enough that it shouldn't be a problem though.

First thick coat of primer has been put on. I'll probably do a 400 grit wet sand in an hour or so to eliminate some scratching. Two more thick coats of primer after that then it's on to the base coats :thumb:

Sanded original paint and got rid of all the imperfections. This is the cover that had the chipping:

This is the other cover I decided to repaint. Notice the line? I didn't notice before, but the paint along that line was raised above the rest of the paint :eek:

The second and last two thick coats of primer are on. Paint smell made it into the house :pat: so I'm done for the night while the air purifiers run.
 
After wet sanding my second two thick coats of primer this morning I realized I used 220 grit instead of 400 grit... FAIL! Two more thick coats:
