Few bolt-on questions...

Yes they keep changing them to improve handling. It's a cheap upgrade with good results.

One the 2012 si coupe & sedan-
rear bar is 15mm

On the 2013 si it went to 18mm
(I believe just the sedan went to 18mm with the redesign. The 2013 coupe stayed at 15mm. Someone can correct me if this is wrong)

On the 2014-2015 si it went to 20mm.

If you want to pay for the additional 2mm on the 22mm progress bar that's your call.

I don't know enough about suspension, just the basics I've picked up over the years. I know sway bars are important the thicker the better and 15 to 20mm sounds like quite the increase considering aftermarket sway bars are up there in price. Going to check out DIYS to see the level of difficulty. I imagine it's not bad though.

Can I just confirm you are suggesting swapping the stock 2013 rear sway bar (15mm from what I read) to a 2014 rear sway bar(20mm)? It just seems too simple and cheap, making sure I am not missing anything. That significant upgrade for like $60-$70 I think.

From what I Understand my '13 si has a 18mm RSB and I'm buying a '14-15 20mm RSB for about $70. The 2mm makes a difference and for $70 I'm willing to find out lol

You are right. 2013 si coupe has 21 mm front and 18 mm rear, source -motor trend review.
