17x9 +40 I'm lowered on Sportlines on a sedan si. Would this rub against my suspension?

I've had Eibach Sportlines for a few weeks and I had some rubbing issues with my stock 18" wheels. Mostly on the front, the tire was rubbing agasinst the inner fender where the clips are.

haven't figured out tire size but there's a set of RPF1's that are those specs for a good deal. I'm not big on the whole stance thing. More of a function over form but of course want it to look good. I've read fitment threads but for some reason still confused how it's all configured. I've looked at the chart available here and when things start to make sense, I'll come across info that just screws up my head. LOL I thought anything x9 would be too wide.

Offset makes a difference. There is a member here running 10.5". Granted he's running like 4 degrees of camber and stretched tires.

Played around with my friend work rezax today to see how 18in lip wheels would look. Not a big fan of it lol. I like the cast wheel look better. there 18x9.5 and 10.5 I have no idea

Oh I know it does but I thought 9" wheels were extreme for our cars. But like I said I have a lot to learn still.
