At the moment I am using Fog Light Overlays on my FB6:

I want to order Yellow Halogen Bulbs from CollegeHillsHonda:

Could someone help me out with the removal process of the overlays and possibly point me in the direction of how to change the bulbs in my fog lights?

Thanks for all your help!

so you want to remove your overlays for good? Are they just a standard laminx type film that you applied? I'm guessing it is - you'd probably need to get a heat gun, or hair dryer on that film to heat it up - and try to get the adhesive to soften up. It's going to be a matter of heating it up, and getting and edge loose with a razor blade, or something thin.

If you want easier access to mess with stuff, you could always take the fog lights out all together, but you'll need to remove the front bumper.

this shows how the front bumper comes off. (you obviously won't be removing the headlights). When you get to the bumper removal, there will be two plugs that are wired into the foglights. You have to pull those out of the back of the foglights to get the bumper loose/off the car. The video below has no fogs (so that won't be in this vid)

then, it's a matter of a few screws and you could mess with the fogs out of the bumper itself.

Thanks for all the help Webby. Anyone have any input on the bulbs from College Hills? I do not want to sacrifice brightness of the original bulbs, but I do not like the look of the yellow film when they are not on. Is there any better options available?

I actually thought I saw another person who had those bulbs here, but I can't seem to find it now. You're going to have some output diminished by going with a yellow bulb. It's not going to be severely drastic, but you will have some light output blocked. The thought is yellow light has a longer wavelength over clear, so it'd penetrate through fog easier, than being reflected back at you. Some say the difference is debatable.

I'll shoot collegehills a message, because I believe Paul has the yellow halogen bulbs installed on a fit.

Light output is diminished but only slightly. I'm personally very happy with them. Not just because of looks but I think they are a better performer when used during rain and snow than the stock bulbs.

any luck with removing the lamin-x?

I actually have not tried yet. I am working three jobs at the moment and have little down time in my life. I think I am off this Thursday and Friday for thanksgiving though, I might try it then. I will keep you posted.
