Forced to buy electric cars by 2035 and they’ll lie about the gas prices going up because of the taxes. $6 gas is greedy corporations taking bigger profits…

WA doesn’t have an income tax. I’m sure they’ll try to leverage the gas tax to implement an income tax, increase the sales tax again, implement more car registration taxes, or some other myriad of tax proposals to compensate for out of control spending.

The $0.13 tax increase in direct gas tax would be the only portion that goes to infrastructure and road maintenance. The other taxes go to climate activism (group led by former governors daughter) and general funds.
 
Whats the registration fee on EVs and hybrids that comes alongside that gas tax?
 
Got 93 for the price of 87 yesterday $1.63/L. Too lazy to convert to Merican.

Edit about $4.45/gallon.

Hopefully they don't pass since that pic was just a proposed increase.....but it did show 2 tax increases and 1 cap & trade, which no clue what that is.

"forced to by electric"? I'm pretty sure Trump was killing that "rule" or was at least going to.

I would gladly take a small tax hike on gas to not have income tax! I'm sure the small gas increase pales in comparison to the savings of not having an income tax. Especially at your pay rate(that I imagine you have, lol).
