Help me make a Spring choice

Are you riding on the bump stops 323? Im trying to get an idea of the available strut travel for different setups/springs; as I am pissed about having none in the front with H&Rs.

are you on stock dampers?
How do you have no travel in the front? Did you cut the stock bump stops?

No I will be cutting this week hopefully. Read my thread: http://9thcivic.com/forum/threads/lets-talk-about-bump-stops-jounce-bumpers-0.8492/

which will probably give me very little gain anyway, but ill take what i can get.

Most new cars are close or literally always riding on the bumps (for comfort reasons). H&R says this is okay as they act as a progressive spring. BS(as far as performance is concerned). I would check how much travel you have when installing springs. would be good to know for me and you ;D.

Also beware that the lowering spring drop is calculated with the bumps in mind. Hence if you cut, it will drop lower(proving that the car is indeed resting on them even without additional weight/stress.

I wish i knew this before lowering my car :(

Hopefully Koni shocks will improve this. I am uncertain if they will actually improve travel/ and are longer than stock?

My Eibach sportline springs came with new shorter bump stops. Maybe eibach knew this and built around/with this is mind?

Yes that good on their part. Unfortunately shitty H&R wants you to ride on those foam "springs ".

I would still check how much travel you have.

Do you think putting the eibach ones would help that?
I don't think so, the eibach ones aren't any bigger, maybe a little stiffer but I don't think it would help that much

yes, stock dampers for now.
and probably riding on the bump stops...i'm not really sure
eibach or H&R are both great choices and I think you would be happy with either one
