Hey, I could use some advice from anyone who has put on of these on. I got the emblem sticker from Corsport.com and I was curious as to how to apply it the best. It would make more sense to remove the old emblem and place this one in the recession. However it seems that it needs the original emblem's border to make it look official. Has anyone had any experience with this before? And if so, what's your overall opinion of it once it's on? Does it look legit? Or just like a sticker? Also what's the best way to make sure it doesn't come off? I live in az so it gets hot. Maybe an extra layer of 3m tape? Here's some pics to illustrate what I'm talking about.

from their site:
"Double sided tape is recommended for both adhesion and for filling up the space when this product is applied on top of the stock steering wheels silver H."

I take it... it doesn't come with any 3m?

Nope, I think the back is sticky, but the 3m would help fill in the gaps. My concern is this sticker may last a couple years, but when I need to remove it it's gonna be a mess.

I dunno if I read it somewhere else or if corsport removed this from their site but I remember seeing something that said "the true jdm enthusiast will remove the stock emblemand replace with this.." or something along those lines.

Found it! It was from Grafixpressions. This may be a different product, if anyone has any experience with either please let me know.

I have the emblem from Grafixpressions and I just applied it right on top of my stock emblem. To my knowledge you can't remove the stock emblem on the 8ths and 9ths. I know with the one from Grafixpressions that it has indentations where the stock emblem would lay so that it's flush with the wheel. With the one I got from them (the badge not the sticker) it looks legit. I had a sticker on my 8th gen and to me it just didn't look as good as the one I have now does.

Thanks! I'm gonna order the one from Grafixpressions today and I'll do a side by side comparison.

Make sure you get the actual JDM badge from them and not the vinyl sticker one like Corsport has. Grafix has both kinds.

i have both ditched the corsport one got the js racing one from graffxpressions much better!

My husband has the car today but I'll grab a picture for you either today or tomorrow. I will definitely admit that the overlay is kinda eh especially in comparison to the badge

the badge is 5 bux more worth every penny

Cool, thanks for the advice guys. I ordered the J's racing one from Grafixpressions. I'll take a couple photos of them side by side to show comparison for other users.

guys, the corsport emblem is a total copy of our original GRFXP H emblem overlay (however, ours was even better since it had the chrome ring and fit better). Now that we offer the J's emblem, the difference is NIGHT and day from the home-made epoxy coated emblems. We still have the old epoxy emblems as well, we'll sell them for $7 each if you want them (just submit a custom order via our website). We have them in a variety of colors too! (blue, orange, black, pink, etc).

The best available emblem on the market is this, fits flawlessly, looks amazing and best news is that you don't have to remove your factory H emblem!

I haven't forgotten about you. It's just been crazy here. I will be taking the car out in a little bit and I will snap a picture for you.
