Has anyone tried this? I'm thinking about giving it a shot since I now have an extra set of 6k bulbs and some ballast laying around.
 
There have been a few users to put different bulbs in their reverse lights to make them much brighter.

There's a company local to me that sells HID bulbs that fit common reverse light sockets.
 
It will actually help someone who has 5% tints on their car's rear windshield (me). Lol.

Worried about the same thing, I've heard they make ones just for reverse but I haven't seen them anywhere.
 
That's crazy bro! Now you can blind people in front or behind you! Hahaha XD
