High knock count

Hello everyone, I just bought a turbo 2015 si and drove it 15 hours home from Texas it did great and the knock count didn’t go above 20 but today I was driving it and for some it reason it sky rocketed to over 100 but I didn’t hear any noises or anything like that but it does have a hood dump from the waste gate so it’s hard to hear much of anything higher in the RPM range. I need help please and thanks I’m very new to the boosted civic scene

I have no idea where it was originally tuned, but you may have an elevation change between where it was tuned versus where you live now (if you're 15hrs away). Did the previous owner tell you who tuned it, or do you know where it was done? It could also be bad gas, or a ton of things. Do you know of a local tuner?
