Hi I just got my 2015 civic Si Sedan. I need to install either a hitch or a roof rack for carrying bikes. I've always used a hitch rack on my old Toyota corolla and was going to do that same here. However I read somewhere that some cutting of the heat shield (or something similar) underneath is required to install the hitch. I don't think I trust Uhaul to do that. Does anyone have any experience with either roof rack/hitch installation on the 2015 sedan? Si is definitely different at the back bumper than the normal civic. Thanks.

Can't comment on the fit of a hitch but the cutting of a heat shield is child's play. That stuff is so thin anyone could do it with metal shears.
I did the hitch install on my old 13 Accord and it was super easy. If you are any kind of a handy person, I would suggest doing the install yourself unless your getting it installed for free.

I have the Thule roof rack for my 14 si sedan. Fit is great and I got three bikes up there with no problem.
