It's way easier to just take the bumper off. Takes all of 10 minutes to do and allows you to be more precise with taping and spraying.

Wow, I just watched a video on removing bumpers on the 9th gen, I might try this out before I plasti dip something similar to this DIY.

It's really easy to remove. Just take your time, keep your bolts and clips in order and voila bumper removed.

2013 civic did plasti dip originally originally then did the vinyl for a better match on my 2013.

theirs tones of clips to remove.
