I need help deciding if i should attempt to pop this dent myself or if i should just buy a new bumper. Money is tight and i don't feel like taking my bumper off until i know for sure how i'll be fixing it. Honda quoted me the price for a new bumper to be about $275 plus i would still have to get it painted myself, and it's a fairly expensive paint. What would you do?

it's all plastic there, so you could be able to pop it back into position yourself. It looks like the white marks are cracks in the paint? Not paint transfer from another vehicle or something right?

You may not even need a new bumper. If you do, you could see if they'd match collegehillshonda pricing - $232.69

I'd take it to a collision shop and get a quote. They'd probably be able to pop & paint... without a new bumper.

:yeahthat: It's worth a try.

Pull it off, pop it yourself and hope it doesn't leave a crease mark on there. Take it to a shop and see if they will paint it.

Yeah, the only part i'm worried about is that i think it will be creased because of where the dent is. There is no paint transfer but there is a notch in the paint below the actual dent. I'll use the advice tho and get a quote from a body shop first and go from there. Anyone have an experience heating a bumper up to pop a dent?

^^ I had the same thing happen on my truck. I heated the bumper with a hairdryer and pushed it back out. The paint isn't perfect but it's plastic so it won't rust thankfully.
I would do it as soon as possible so that the plastic doesn't have any "memory". Make sure you heat it up really well.
