Well a black bear is like a big dog. A grizzly bear is much larger and is much more apt to go for conflict. Their natural habitats are typically more open with less trees to hide in so they just attack each other much more often than black bears do. Significantly more temperamental.
 
A grizzly just killed a person in yellowstone park this week. First in 28 yrs for yellowstone
