Is anyone running 17x9

Depending on the offset and how low you're going, yes. I have 17x9 +35 with a 225/45 tire in the rear, and I have to have them cambered like crazy to not rub, but I'm also slammed on BC Racing coilovers.

My drop could be up to 2.3" in the front and 2.2 on the rear.. Got a 45mm off set on the wheels.. Im moreless worried about rubbing in the front and wile turning. I have a skunk2 rear chamber kit. Im sure i could make the back work.

Thanks alot webby! There are a few sizes simular besides the offset.. The offset on the wheels im lookin at ( Rota Grids ) is 45mm. Im wondering if i will need spacers or not to get it to fit without rubbing! Scared to order and have them not fit when i recieve them :/

what tire size are you planning to run?

AlienPrime ^ ^ want to confirm his setup

That's a really wide tire... like zero stretch. As you can tell from most of the listings, most people are running 205 or 215 tires to get them to work. I'd be worried that a 250 tire with a rim at 45 offset... you'll be too close to your suspension parts, but I cannot measure it. Here are the specs with 255 tire instead of 250. It didn't list 250 as an option for comparisons...

left side - stock si wheel. Right side - your wheel in question with 255 tire.

The lower part is the concern - 20mm / .8" closer to brake/suspension parts. If you have the car, crawl under there and see what kind of room you have from the stock wheel to the suspension.

Ok great webby. I travel for work so I'm about a country away from my whip at the moment but ill get a buddy of mine to check that out for me tomorrow. Would spacers be my best option regardless? And any idea where i could purchase some?

Problem being, I don't know how much room you'd have to the fender with a 250/255 tire on a 9" rim. I wouldn't know how big of a spacer you could use without rolling fenders etc. Someone with a 9th gen will have to chime in on how much space you'd have.

JayDieM.TraN may be the best person to comment, as he ran some 235's on his setup ...rolled fenders, and like -4 camber to get his setup below.

Wheel Size/Offset: 17x9 +22ET
Tire Specs: 235/40ZR17 (All Around)

I have 215/35's on a 17x9 +17 rim. It all fits if you have a coilover over setup in the front with the little oval camber adjustment hole and not even rolled just trimmed fender liner. The rears are shaved and pulled a TINY bit and is with natural lowered camber.
