Is it worth tuning for 98 octane

My guess is probably not but vit offers an option for race gas tunes. I couldn't find anything on line saying yay or nay.

Also what would be the process for this. If I have to be running 98 octane while tuning (my guess) then this is definitely not worth it.

You'd need to run it for tuning. Not worth it unless you're messing with a dedicated track car (in my opinion).
