This recording shows terrifying footage documenting a split-second, near run-in with an SUV as it was encroaching into his lane. If you stop tape at 0:12, you can see how Blain's elbow almost paid the ultimate price.

According to Australia's Gizmag, for which Blain was testing the BMW S1000RR, the SUV ran wide into the oncoming lane on a blind, cresting left-hander and missed him (and his passenger!) by a hair's breadth. We hope he made it home okay in wet gear.
