It's Illegal to wash your car in your driveway in New York!

HOA rules? Hehe. Try washing at any apt complex. I just moved outta Upstate NY and yea it does seem like everything is illegal or at least gets you a talking to and a "I'm taking down your information incase we have any more trouble in the future. Im doing you a favor by not arresting/writing you a ticket right now."

Ah New York, New Jersey, the whole northeast. They'll ticket you for parking in your driveway in NJ. Don't even need to be washing it.

About how much would it cost to put up an 8 foot fence that you can't see though?
 
I'm in Greensboro NC in an old neighborhood with street parking, it is illegal to wash your car in the street, however I have been doing it weekly for 9 years, never had a problem with it, but the police tend to be lienient within neighborhoods.
