Wondering if I can bolt on and drive at 4" drop with 18x8.5 40 series????

4" is a lot of drop. As mentioned in pm, I would look for examples of cars you like and post them here. At least that would help in determining how low you're really wanting to go. 2" usually gets you like 1 finger gap.
4" is insane and miserable. If u wanna go that low just go bagged. Either u can spend the extra money on bags or spend it repairing ur car. Not trying to be a dick at all. Just speaking from personal experience.
