Does this list still hold accurate for the k20 head swap? The parts that are listed year 2012, I'm assuming those parts are different from the ones in the 2014?? Hence I still need to get those parts??
Also what exactly is "race spec"? There are no part numbers to them or does it mean any aftermarket brand will do for those parts?? Again do they have to be specifically year 2012 or is it because that was the year of the OP civic?
what does the OP mean by pistons, rods 12 to 1?
As usual thanks for any help!!
If you actually read the post. And read through it. Your answer can be found. It says like 4th post in, that race spec just means custom fabricated. And this list was compiled before the 14 came out. I'm 99.9% sure it's all the same parts. The 14 isn't a whole new car. Just cosmetic changes. Mechanically it's the same engine and transmission. Also if you don't know what "12 to 1" means. This really isn't a job for you. Not being a jerk just being honest. 12 to 1 is the compression ratio of the piston.
