Sometimes. He told me after that I could go back and get something today :D it'll probably be something really tiny
 
A new LEGO store is opening up at the mall by us!!! It's grand opening is going on during my birthday :D

I went to get my best friends kid a lego set for his birthday, and it was very hard not to leave with one for me as well. Fortunately i got to help put together the one i got for the kid
 
i got him this one, his dads a commercial pilot and his moms an air traffic controller, so anything airplane related is guaranteed to be a hit

See i viewed it as if someone already got him that 3 in 1 set, he can build one of the other ones, or have two of the big one. The seem to have one thats the "big" one and then the other two just use some of the parts but not all of them, he opted for the big twin prop over the jet or hovercraft.

he was also more excited about the lego planes till he got the present from his parents, a model of the new plane his dad will be flying

That's a good point! I really want the R2-D2 set but I'm trying to grow up and get married. I won't complain if my grandparents give it to me for my birthday though LOL
 
come on, put it on the wedding registry, you know you want to, just let Mr put some car related things on too
