Live reveal of the 2014 corvette..watch NOW

Great looking exterior.....not digging the red interior....reminds me of the NSX: overdone. Red, or preferably blue in my case, should be used as an accent colour. It shouldn't dominate like that IMO.

Really liking the C7 over the last couple in terms of design. Some will probably disagree but I think it looks worlds better.

Just used the quick configuration linked last page and cried because I can't afford it haha. One can dream until he gets a raise (or a better job)! :driving:

if history is any indication, you can usually find some pretty amazing deals on used corvettes.

You can for sure but, fixing them is costly and they eat tires like people eat hot wings, and when they do,they cost a bundle and if I'm not mistaking they can't rotate them due to different sizes front and back if I'm not mistaking. I really wanted one before I bought my si but I thought it through and didn't want to deal with that reality.i also looked for. A 2003 trans am loaded in black on black but found nothing,if I did I would be driving it now

oooh boy i can see kenny ripping up the dragoon with that bad boy lol:dancing:

Official HP/TQ specs are released -

Chevrolet announced on Tuesday that the 2014 Corvette Stingray's all-new LT1 6.2-liter V8 engine has been SAE-certified at 455 horsepower (339 kW or 461PS) and 460 lb-ft (624 Nm) of torque.

With the available performance exhaust system, these numbers are lifted to 460 horsepower (343 kW or 466PS) at 6,000 rpm and 465 lb-ft of torque (630 Nm) at 4,600 rpm, respectively.

Nice... Definitely sounds promising. I guess it comes down to a generation thing but in my opinion the C5 Z06 corvette is still my absolute favorite corvette. I love the pop up headlights :)

the throaty sounds at like 1:15+ are excellent :excited:

The all-new LT1 small-block V8 holds on to the same 6.2-liter displacement as the C6, here producing 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque backed by either a seven-speed manual or a six-speed paddleshift automatic. And although GM has yet to release the car's weight (we only know it won't be under 3,000 pounds as previously rumored), it's promising a better power-to-weight ratio than the Porsche 911 Carrera and Audi R8. In fact, Chevy pledges the C7 will run from 0-60 in less than four seconds and Z51 Performance Package examples will achieve cornering grip of over one g right out of the box. Further, 60-0 braking distances are said to be consistent with that of the outgoing Grand Sport and so are its lap times – impressive for a standard model.

they already shaved off 99lbs off the new vette, that is alot of weight reduction ! can't wait to see the actual curb weight !

Now it's almost like a car in F&F. It's short by 3-5 gears. :giggle:
