Civic (Canadian)LX Auto 4Dr 2013: I have the Haynes Book (Ch.12); Looking for a shortcut.
Objective: create a latching control to activate the Dome Ceiling Lamp (my case = LED)
remotely without grounding a door jam open switch (brings up dash message).
[not the 'spotlight' or Map reading Lamps]
has anyone hacked the MICU {Multiplex Integrated Control Unit}
I have used a small 9V battery to determine YE Yellow as (+) and BU Blue as (-) will unlock both rear doors
and I plan to use a circuit separate relay (and diodes) to control just the rear right to unlock for passenger pickup.
I will either put a separate passenger LED fixture into the rear or cut into the GY wire at that right rear door jam.
What I will accomplish is control of just the right rear passenger side for driveshare
without leaving the other doors vulnerable to the
'follow them in attack" .

are there any unpublished modes of the MICU for this model, say, any way
to set the Keyless entry fob work 'one press for Drivers door unlock, 2nd press is for all'?
