After price change, Xbox Game Pass users are canceling subscriptions so fast that Microsoft's website is struggling to keep up

The flagship Xbox Game Pass Ultimate tier has gotten a whopping 50% price increase from $19.99/month to $29.99/month, making it significantly more expensive. Now, it got some upgrades of its own — Xbox Cloud Gaming queue priority, 1440p resolution with streams, new Ubisoft+ titles, up to $100 earnable Xbox rewards, and Fortnite Crew — but even so, the Xbox community's reaction to the price hike has been a scathing one.

I got a Steam Deck back in 2022 kind of as a forgot-I-signed-up-to-buy-one-the-year-prior type thing. Turned out to be one of my better purchases. I love that little handheld PC.

I don't know if any of the other handheld options are as good, but I'm interested in one other one sometime in the future.

My brother bought a PS2 like a year or so after it came out. That's the only console or any type of game system there has been in my/our household. I usually played some video games at friends houses, but not much.
