The 6 bolts they sent, were they used in addition to the CT supplied bolts or used to replace them? Looking at the Merc install instruction I am confused as I would think the additional space created by the aftercooler would call for longer bolts. Am I right in this assumption?

I have yet to receive my SC kit and can't play with it. Merc didn't send me any extra bolts and I am worried come install time I may be missing pieces.

Do you recall if your AC kit came with any bolts for the manifold or for bolting the AC to the charger itself? Mine has come with none...

Your bolts for the ct will Jane fine. My friend Danny is using his ct bolts with the aftercooler installed with no problems. Once your blower comes in. Test fit first but I'm sure you will be fine. My jrsc came with to flat bolt because my aftercooler went inside my manifold but for the ct you will be fine.

Thanks 6, what I am more confused about now is in the install pic, I can see the original 6 being re-used but there are 6 other bolts that are required. I am now trying to figure out if these come with the CT kit or if Merc should've included them...what do you guys think? The CT bolts are taped in blue, but idk anything about the other that will bolt the AC plate to the blower...

Are you talking about the 6 bolts that actually bolt it to the manifold? Just trying to make sure I know what bolts your talking about?
 
I'm referring to the inner 6 "untaped" bolts in the pic above that bolt the aftercooler to the blower. I am assuming the blue taped ones are the original CT ones that will mount Aftercooler to the manifold...

Oh ok I thought you meant the one that connected to the manifold. You should still be fine. But I think Jose will include new ones that are flat. Ill ask today for you when I call him
 
We've got the charger on our 12 sedan already -- can't wait to see these hit the market, we are down for one for sure -- and would be down to sell them too if you guys are so inclined... message us.

Thanks bro, Jose emailed me back last night saying he forgot to include the bolts.. lol smh, Sh1t happens...I need to order up some M8-25 bolts I am good to go...thanks for all your help bro...good news my charger finally came in!!!!! BBOOOOYAAAA! Of course I am out of town :( lol

I'm talking to him now! :giggle: your local pep bolts will have them in stock most likely. Well we need you get back in town and get it installed! Also your more than welcome. Let me know when you get back. I can give your pointers and tips for the install and bleeding of the aftercooler.
 
not much wide open throttle tho thats what i wanna see plus a nice drive bye so i can hear the wonderful EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE sound lol
 
wanna see the MPG after a week or two of driving with this kit too ?????

Vibration can cause all kinda noise. It will make seem like so much stuff is broke or rattling but is not its just how stiff the mounts are and how they transfer vibration to the cabin. My innovatives 85a stiffness felt damn near like stock. I was surprise like hell.
