I thought $23k was for the K swap but it includes coilovers, brakes and other ****. Think he said $26k total for the car + k swap + all the other upgrades.

Ben didn't even do the work for the swap. He had it taken up to Wisconsin to some shop..

@Honda-Fan Yeah, she knows im looking for an ek hatch. She doesnt know what that means, just more or less what they look like, lol.

@bootyluvr Not that i know of, but i think she realizes i won't stop bugging her about getting one until i get one. Small victory i suppose.

Yeah, $26k including the car but I’m sure he was out of pocket for way less since he is basically a K Tune commercial. In that vid he never really mentioned what was sponsored.
He also did a balls out build. I would think most people would have half the cost. Maybe a little more if s shop did all the wrenching.
 
Since Gears & Gasoline was mentioned I’ll leave this here. One of the local Evo guys.

I'm not sure about that but I know Andrewtech (Gaithersburg, MD) hooked him up on that Forester build and then not even a year later he sells the Forester.. Come on now. :rolleyes:

Yeah he said he was sponsored but then went on to say that he is going to list everything out in the video by MSRP.. So people that want to do it themselves without sponsors like him will know the exact amount... SMH.. :banghead:

Just working 6 days a week going crazy to get this money to get a build started. Other than that, just enjoying the mild weather we'll have this week. Nice enough to be outisde without sweating, but also a fair amount of rain for NC this week...

You getting that rain from the Tropical Storm right? We are supposed to get some showers here in Maryland but mainly a bit windy from it.
 
Bleh, we've got a Ricoh Copier replacement happening next week. Gonna have a team of 4 or us setting up and configuring all the new machines. I think it's supposed to be like 30 machines or so.
