Mother Of All Whore Threads Non-VIP Edition v.1

Thanks everyone. I've been trying to prepare myself for this day for several years now ever since I found out he had liver problems. Unfortunately he's been addicted to pain killers since the 90s and that's what's caused all his issues. All too often now these issues have pushed people to other options we believe that is what has happened to him. My grandpa, his dad, was living with him also and he has dementia and other problems also and we had to have him taken to the hospital to get checked out. He was in bad shape also and the doctors told my brother that he wouldn't have made it much longer if we wouldn't have had him brought in. We are being asked to determine if we want a DNR on him if something bad happens while treating him. I'm having a hard time trying to get my mind around all this. I don't know if I can take possibly losing him also.
That’s really rough. Hopefully your grandfather can get the care he requires & your family finds peace in the decisions you’ve got to make going forward. That’s a lot to deal with at one time. :grouphug:

An update about my grandpa, he's being moved out of ICU tomorrow morning. After getting some care he needed badly, he's doing a ton better. He's alert and knows what is going on now. A nurse gave him a shave and cut his hair for him and basically made his day. He's been excited about getting food. He wasn't being fed right or taken care of by anyone at my dad's house. Things are really looking up for him now. He does still have an infection in his blood they are trying to figure out what it is and how to get rid of it. But he's much better than he was just a day and a half ago.

That's great news Git.

On a side note, the weather in the Carolinas finally realized its fall. Not cool enough for long sleeves, but enough to not sweat through everything im wearing, lol.

It's 77F here with 66% humidity. Not bad. It's cloudy though. Calling for rain later.

Oh my God! I wasnt pouring sweat at work today! Weather is gorgeous! Best Monday in a while, although not being super busy helps too.

Still searching for the right Si. Also still trying to convince my wife an Si switch needs to happen..... it's not going well yet.

Weather was gorgeous today! Light sprinkles here and there a nice breeze.

Saw my parents and grandma for a few hours after work today, so that was nice.

I'm off Columbus Day, but I'll spend most of that at the DMV with my wife since we both need new nc drivers licenses (we both have co still).

Still looking daily to see if any new Si's come on the market in my area.

I shipped my honda si a 1000 miles because no one had a very low mileage 2013, got it on ebay from a old man who couldn't even push the clutch in any more, bad knee's. He took very great care of it. I now have 19,500 miles on it. I drove it so far maybe 1900 miles. I am putting on brand new Michelin's 3+ AS with a speed rating of Y 180+mph-means the tire is extremely well balanced, treadwear 500 very soon as the the firehawks 500 freeze at 32 degrees. I drove in very heavy rain for about 60 miles no real problem. I don't like the newer Honda's especially the turbo 1.5 dud, the non key cars, the hill assist and kinds of extra junk honda is now putting in cars.:barf:
