Interesting indeed. Although why can't carbon fiber not be ground down and used in a new carbon composite piece? like the radiator support in the R35 GT-R.

Maybe CF doesnt have the strengh component once is ground down?

The strength of the carbon fiber is in the continuity of the fiber strands. You sand it down, you cut the strands and you lose integrity. Initially you can sand down some of the epoxy layer over the woven fabric but it’s a huge no no to actually sand any of that fabric layer, cutting those fibers

As you mentioned @Janz3n, with the tankless water heater, it takes a bit for the hot water to make it to the faucet depending on where you are in the house.

I don’t know if you have a way of creating a loop in your house, but they offer tankless units that recirculate to the furthest faucet. It monitors temp and you can set a schedule to run hot water in the loop hourly or whatever time frame. That way you get instant hot water anywhere.

We have to evaluate what It’ll take for a recirc pump and how to implement that in a loop without breaking the bank.

I don’t know what model you have, but you could check if it’s possible without even doing a loop. Certain rinnai models can do it. We have a rinnai model as well.

199k Rinnai unit. It supports an external recirc pump.

very nice. It's nice to have re-circulation if you're able. Even if it's not the longest loop, it can help push colder water out of the lines to get warmer water to a bathroom/kitchen or whatever.

what funday? i just finished mopping all the floors, doing laundry, have to clean out the grill from yesterday...

Sunday is for doin chores

They also make a mini tankless water heater for single room use. It’s just a tiny unit that goes below the sink of the room you want. Might be more of a commercial use type of thing and no clue how pricy they are.

We had one in my old job. Just needed hot water in the kitchen/break room so the tiny unit was under the sink in the kitchen.

Naw that's what Saturday is for.

Well I did clean the bathroom this morning but that was around 730am. I did a load of my laundry after cleaning the bathroom.

Played poker from 2pm-6pm at a buddy's house.

Sundays are for chores around here too. The Wife was out with her girlfriends until like 4am so I was on Daddy Duty most of the day. Once she crawled out of bed I hung some LEDs in my garage and worked on the Evo a bit. Just winding down for the night. Ordered a pack of Wyze Plugs for the previously mentioned LEDs.

4am!? Holy ****!

My wife is an old lady. She got home once at 11pm from being out with her friends and she was pissed they kept her out so late :giggle:
