That looks like the regular 1.6L just by looking at the valve cover-- my dad had one of those. Did they do some sort of weird Transmission swap? Did those come in manual for non-Si?
... I also have some concerned Honda Civic owner questions:
What's that clear piping coming from the hood's interior? ...An IV drip to keep this thing on life support?
Edelbrock sticker? ...On a short-ram intake? Bro. You're an import, that's not your scene.
How many times has this been painted? Why were all of the color choices bad?
This Civic has seen a lot. Just from the looks of it, it needs a full rebuild. And some therapy-- someone to tell it that everything's going to be okay.

The intake has tube has two filters.

I had to go look again. There's a reservoir filter... on the short ram's intake tube
. I guess the short ram just wasn't enough air for that monster mammoth tune that they have!

Yeah. Unless race car. Then you put a filter on the valve cover and block off the intake tube hole.
Also just notice it has three hydraulic fluid reservoirs. Two small one big. Must has two clutch pedals.

Someone bought that thing? They must've really just wanted a chassis. Zip-ties were holding things in that really needed clips or bolts.
Also it was Sizzurp purple on the outside.
