Mother Of All Whore Threads Non-VIP Edition v.1

Morning :coffee:

@Nomar06 - New house is coming along nicely! I just saw your pictures on FB but it's public so I don't "like" or "comment" lol I'm just weird.

Haven't washed my car since before I put it away in the fall. Yesterday was sunny and kind of warm so I did it. Rain forecasted for the next two weeks.

Damn. We have no rain (as of now) until next Tuesday (5/9) but let it rain since I'm going on vacation 5/11 :giggle:

Rain to snow today. Then no rain for a week. I don't know why I even trust forecasts.

I'm really confused as to why lond distance moving company quotes arent close to the same amount. I've been quoted 7 to 15k

screw snow at this time of year... just no

long distance moves i think vary depending on their own logistics, where you're going and how they have to move it. if they can load all your stuff onto a truck and drive it a to b and unload its cheaper than if they have to drive from your house to a facility, load all your stuff and a few other peoples stuff onto a bigger truck, then break the load apart into smaller trucks to get to your final destination.

You said you were going to a rental while you wait for your house to sell. It might be more cost effective to do a Pod type service, load all the non essentials in there and put it into storage, do a smaller move of the essentials to the rental until the house sells and then call for your pod to be delivered.

I wnated to do the pod thing but no one services where we're going or its expensive because of that. also, i need to move my tool box with our stuff so storing the pod wont work because its $2500-3000 just to ship my box alone.

So expensive in Canada..

meteorologist must be the easiest professions to get. they arent even held accountable for bad forecasts.

Yeah I need to mow my mf'in lawn! Ugh. The back yard takes forever to dry (being 0' at sea level and close to the water / back yard shaded until evening time).

Funny how weather.com says no rain tomorrow.... But AccuWeather shows "Some sunshine with a couple of brief showers beginning at midday"

We secured a rental for June 1st. It's got an ocean view. Don't even ask me how much this is a month.

Oh! Forgot to ask.. You just transferring to a different Chrysler Dealership?
Sorry if you mentioned it before.
