Mother Of All Whore Threads Non-VIP Edition v.1

So I had this great idea when I was MTB tonight. Ride past this jump thinking. Hey I could probably do that. So I went back up a bit and attempted the jump. But it turns out I can't do it and I went over my handlebars and landed on my shoulder. It hurts a lot but I'm 70% sure I didn't break any bones. Collar bone is a bit swollen but doesn't hurt when I touch it. Shoulder is done though.

Sometimes you gotta remember that you're not in your 20s any more.

My doctor friend suspects a torn rotator cuff.
There are YouTube vids or exercises to test if your rotator cuff is torn. Some require a second person to provide resistance or pressure, but it could confirm it. When I broke my collarbone you could feel bone grinding/clicking when trying to move that shoulder. If you broke it, I’d think you’d have it popping and grinding.

i did some shoulder resistance band training after a fall caused a tear, seems to have healed up without needing surgery

I dont think i broke my collar bone, i feel like id be in a lot more pain. i seem to have regained a lot of mobility in my shoulder today so im thinking either slightly torn it or sprained it. i can feel it ( top of shoulder) when i move it wrong.

my doctor friend also said after 3 days try to put my arm out 90 degrees and then bend my elbow and try and touch the back of my had with my thumb. if i cant, go to a walk in clinic and get an ultra sound.

Random Post. Anyone here have Knee Issues?
I tore my ACL (Right Leg) back in HS and it was never properly diagnosed or treated. Fast forward twenty years and it doesn’t really bother me too much. Could use a good scope but no real issue anymore. Earlier this year I had to get an MRI done on my leg leg and it turns out I’m missing some good chunks of cartilage in my knee. Saw a few Doctors and Surgeons who all advised against surgery, even though there’s a “foreign body” present, and suggested physical therapy and injections. Reason for the post is, and it might just be the cold, my clutch leg is starting to hurt on long drives.
