This on your Civic? Which version of Tein struts do you have? Only asking as I have Tein Flex coilovers on my Stealth which I don't think are available anymore (at least, not my particular version) and have been wondering what I'm going to do when they wear out (I've had them on the car for nearly 20yrs now, installed sometime around 2007).

As for money, I only wish I had more of it to use on the things I want to use it on. :(

Street basis z. I would assume they sell replacements if they still sell them for that vehicle.

Paid $5300 in Federal Taxes yesterday night.
Usually use Turbo Tax but after owing the past few years I decided it was time to see an actual CPA. Turns out the Wife and I never changed our W4s back in 2020/21 when they added a little box for “Multiple Jobs”. Garbage. It’s been an expensive month.

Ouch.

I’m getting a whole $36 refund. Went thru a bunch of times and got it from a $300 owe to $36 refund. All in how an IRA rollover was characterized.

first year doing taxes with the wife being self employed, hoping to only owe around $5K. im hoping to get back about $15k.

the and cooler concerns me, is that to expedite getting the brisket into the rest phase?

How does it work up in Canada when you are self employed? Its been quite a few years but both my parents we self employed and did not pay any taxes until April 15th came up. So combined.....they always paid over $10,000. It varied on how much they made but still.

Probably same as USA. You do your taxes. Claim as much as you can to lower your income then pay your taxes on that amount.

I've used a cooler to rest before; great way to maintain temperature while letting something rest.

Although, I think the one in the casket is to keep your cold drinks cold while you're grilling! Flipping and sipping!

I thought this was a “rest” “death” joke initially. Like, “this is for making killer bbq”

Off-topic rant - move or delete as needed.

Canada’s apparently got a policy allowing people to allow doctors to kill their patients when asked.

One of my wife’s relatives make a decision yesterday to follow thru with a “medically assisted suicide” in Canada and we get notified by family today that it happened.

That just seems like something outside the box and I’m not cool with it. Especially with the situation that we now get to deal with of … “so and so decided they no longer wanted to live, so they had their doctor take their life. Please understand and keep your thoughts with this person.”

Im not cool with suicide in general, but going about it in a way of going to the doctor to have them do it for you also doesn’t sit well. Like, there’s other avenues to address issues than to simple acquiesce to somebody’s request. Seems grotesque for that to be allowed.
