Something I've been working on. I've tried scanning the actual part a few times with a relatively inexpensive 3D scanner (Creality Ferret Pro). And, while I can get something that looks decent, I haven't been able to really work with the 3D models for various reasons. Part of it is my lack of familiarity with the processes to go from physical, to digital, and back to physical via printing. So, I took a break from trying another 3D scan in order to build the physical part in Fusion. The geometry is not perfect, it is close, potentially useable; but, when I took the .stl file and put it into Cura for slicing, I was somewhat shocked at the 2+ day build time. Admittedly, my 3D printer (AnyCubic Kobra Max) isn't state of the art, so I'm sure that is part of it, the rest is likely size as this part (an air duct for a side mount intercooler on a 99 3000GT VR-4) is pushing the bounds of what the printer can do with the space it has.
