Have to finish this wood today. Started a third row and it fell over. Other two rows are falling over as well. I think it's because I don't have both sides supporting them. So now I have to move the dry wood from the left side and stack all the wet wood on the left. Cut all the dry wood and stack that and prep for a other 2 cords of dry wood tomorrow. Thankfully it will be cut.

I ordered 2 cords of wood today. Guy dropped it off while I was at work. Wife sent me this picture. Were both like that's not 2 cords.

So I messaged the guy saying I'd like to stack it before paying him. He was a little defensive and said he would bring more if it's short. So I sent him money for one cord plus delivery. Spent a couple hours stacking the wood 4x4x8 feet. And ended up with less than a cord. And I was very generous with my measurements.

Oh. It's kind of close. The stack is 4x4x8 but the 3rd row is short. Guy is dropping more off today.

He told me it's impossible it's that much short because he uses a van that's 6x8x10 which should be about 2.3 cords.i told him to come by and check out the stack and measure it. He said he will have to take my word for it. Kind of weird thing to say after saying it was impossible.

Unfortunately I'm 100% positive most of the cords I've got have been short like this. But this was the worst so far which is why I spent a couple hours stacking it last night after work.

Guy brought another load today. I refused to stack again and told him I'll stack it tomorrow. If it's still short I won't pay until he brings the rest.
