Not sure on what springs to buy, few question.....

1.) Eibach Sportline springs or H&R springs?

I will be running a 17x9 wheel with either a +30 or +35 offset with stock tires for now, will replace them eventually.

2.) Will I rub, need to roll fenders, or worry about strut clearance with either spring and the 17x9 wheels?

I do have camber arms and camber bolts installed already.

3.) How much will I poke with a 17x9 +30 offset?

Any pictures with these specs will really help! Where I live there are no pot holes, they only thing I would have to worry about is speed bumps.
 
I'm surprised no one was able to chime in on this. I had the exact same questions except the springs I'm going with are Tein S techs

1. Either is fine but I'm bias toward coilovers.

2. With 35offset, and springs you won't rub with less with 225 tires. But it is possible it will rub when bouncing since I don't know the stiffness. You don't need to worry about rubbing the strut until +40

3. You'll probably get about .5-1cm poke.

Honestly man, there are a lot of pictures of your car with this wheel and specs including tires and suspension in either of the lowered threads. Both sedan and coupes. A quick look through there would probably yield a lot of information for you. People are running similar specs so even a different wheel in the same size and offset should answer your questions.



I highly suspect you will rub over large bumps or with people in the car. Fender work isn't that bad. Invest in a roller, learn to do it yourself, then charge your friends and make your money back for the tool.

@Nix thanks man really helpful info you just provided!

And my first choice were the MB battle wheels and smallest I found was 17x9 +30 and I think that will be a pretty aggressive poke,

@Nix still undecided man, One of my friends has the rpf1 x9 so I'm going to try them on my car and look at how much I poke, those are the wheels I'm leaning towards but I just don't want any crazy excessive poke.
 
Great looking wheel. One of my favorites, well, if it's at least 9". I hate the bubble face ones. Hahahah.

If you get them in a 17x9 +35 you can always have them milled by a specialty wheel shop to a +40. I think people were having issues with the +45 hitting on the suspension. Again, depends on the tire you want to run. That's the route I was going to take but I ended up not getting them. I wanted to run a 235/40 tire also.
 
I've been looking all day and just found some really great looking Work replicas, according to a Subaru forum I was reading on some guy pushing about 480WHP that tracks his car said they hold up amazing. Plus they sponsor a drift car, not to sure whose. I may look into these and save around 500 dollars! No complains on the quality of the wheel they're just "heavy" at 21lbs but that is not a big deal for me as I don't plan on tracking my car.

your drop looks great... as for drag wheels -
Drag wheels are much better than Rotas. They meet JWL (Japan Wheel Light) and VIA (Vehicle Inspection Association) standards. And are Dot Approved.

Plus, they are made in Japan.
