For cars that can't really make gains with bolt one like the r18, you'd be better of doing body/interior mods. Those cars still look good when lowered and a nice set of wheels if you can't got fast why not go low n slow? A clean modded civic turns head don't necessarily have to be a Si, you just don't want to make it look rice just tasteful my .02
 
I'm already working on the exterior mods. Replaced headlamps, got lowering springs being put on tomorrow and bought fog lights as well. It's a work in progress. Next is a set of rims and tires. :) So that is the route I was going in the first place. I just wanted a "little" more power. I want more response when I press in the throttle at a stop light.
