didnt the browns lose the franchise a few years ago or am i dreaming that? because i rem watching the drew carry show and they made a reference to it

The team was moved to Baltimore and the name changed to the Ravens in 1996. The mayor of Cleveland at the time, Mike White, successfully fought to retain the Browns name in the city. I believe the Browns came back to the NFL in 1999. So, the current Browns is actually an expansion team. Browns, Indians, and Cavs...in that order. Not a huge basketball fan, and since Lebron left, its even harder to watch.I'm not a Browns fan but love me some Cavs basketball!
