i carry either my glock 26 or my glock 30....have a 23 also but rarely carry it

I stood beside a guy shooting a .50 cal. Desert Eagle once. He did have reliability problems with the gun but, whenever it did fire, my chest caved in from the concussion that round created.

Over the weekend, we came four votes away from the United States Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations. In a 53-46 vote, the senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.

The Statement of Purpose from the bill read: To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.
The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S., and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo.

Astonishingly, 46 of our United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.

Here are the 46 senators that voted to give your rights to the U.N.

No one voted to give your rights away. Lol. The UN treaty has zero effect on your 2nd amendment rights.

...unless of course, illegal arms trafficking is your thing, in which case, I'm not here to judge.

U.S. gun rights activists say the treaty is riddled with loopholes and is unworkable in part because it includes “small arms and light weapons” in its list of weaponry subject to international regulations. The activists said they do not trust U.N. assertions that the pact is meant to regulate only cross-border trade and would have no impact on domestic U.S. laws and markets.
One provision requires participating countries to keep records of arms exports and imports, including the quantity, value, model/type, and “end users, as appropriate” for at least 10 years.

Gun record-keeping is a thorny issue in the U.S., where similar questions have stalled a debate over expanding background checks to include all private gun sales.

Unfortunately, in my opinion, the folks that voted these people into office and keep them in office are more involved with feelings than thinking, don't care much about the country's future and are not well-informed voters. Worse, I fear there is no longer much that can be done at the polls to reverse the course of the country.

There seems to be One side that when they can't get the voting numbers they need to change something they go around it and use executive orders to over ride it, or in this case try to go around it, though the UN.
Ppl are going to vote for who gives the hand outs. Odds are I'll die before this Country is flipped...... I feel for the future generations........

In the words of one of our possible to be elected Presidents ....... "What difference does it make"........

We are in complete agreement Monk. As long as the gravy train continues to run, they don't care a wit about what it does to the country. I am truly glad I am so old I likely will not be around to see America as the third world country for which the Democrats and liberals are striving.

If you have not seen my posts on the other 9th Gen. forums,, in the Water Cooler section, in the Obama Sequester thread, check them out. Also check out the responses of the lefties. My God, this country in trouble.

Hey, wait a minute here. You referenced "handouts" in your post Monk. You're not a not one of those Tea Party racists are you?

Very Long Trigger pull, GET USE TO IT, can not be changed without voiding lifetime warranty
Can not shot without clip inserted and can not change without voiding lifetime warranty

Awesome guns on here, some of the collections caused me to drool. I got rid of my S&W Sigma 9mm and purchased the M&P Shield 9mm towards the end of February. My local gun shop finally got a couple in stock and it had just came off the line and was test fired on February 5th. This is going to be my conceal carry gun. Best trigger pull out of the M&P Series.
